(Alles Europa News) -Scientists from Canada, after four years of work, created a universal “saving” donor blood.
This discovery can be a revolution in blood transfusion, as finding the donor of the right group sometimes takes too much time.
Now, with the new discovery of scientists, the potential for transfusion of donated blood will double.
Alles Europa News reports that Scientists from the Canadian University of British Columbia managed to detect microorganisms in the human intestines, which, as it turned out, produce enzymes that can convert the second blood group to universal.
Alles Europa News reports that a four-year study conducted by scientists revealed that these enzymes remove the “extra” sugar molecules from the blood of the second group, thus turning it into a suitable one for any recipient.
Prior to this, only the first group was considered universal.
