Aston Martin unveils crossover for the first time in its history.

Earlier in November, Aston Martin introduced the first motorcycle in its history. The Aston Martin AMB 001 was shown at the EICMA Motor Show in Milan.

The motorcycle was created in conjunction with the motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior.

Design AMB 001 is made in the style of mid-engined Aston Martin models – Valkyrie and Valhalla.

Alles Europa news reports that the British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin introduced the first crossover in its 106-year history.

The DBX model is built using mainly components and assemblies of the Daimler concern.

In particular, the crossover is equipped with a German V8 4.0 engine with two turbines, a nine-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive transmission.

The car body is made of aluminum. Engine power is 550 horsepower. The maximum speed of the car is 291 kilometers per hour, and acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour takes 4.5 seconds.

BEYOND THE BORDERS
The starting point for the V12 mid-engine was the F1 ™. The responsiveness of the V12 is tailored for a rich sound, while the hybrid technology ensures immediate acceleration.

A NEW GENUS
The superior performance comes from the Cosworth-developed 6.5-liter V12 engine. Completely different than a conventional hybrid system, the V12 is powered during startup with more torque and the electric motor used for power boosting.
